Halloween is one of our favorite times of year in Maryland. Cool, crisp weather, the return of all things pumpkin, candy…and of course, the actual holiday of Halloween – we love to dress up, host parties and set up creative Halloween-themed events.
When we think of Halloween as bartenders and mixologists, we get excited because October brings so many wonderful flavors to not only the foods we enjoy, but the libations we love to concoct! This Halloween, our popular cocktail kits are returning, but with a basic witch twist! We have created festive, delicious Halloween cocktails that are the perfect compliment to Halloween, Halloween parties, or just to sip on while you watch Hocus Pocus. We have created some cocktail kits that are ready to drink, and some that are a bit more interactive, for all those budding mixologists.
For the ready to drink Halloween cocktail kits, we do the hard work like making the Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martinis or Devil’s Sangria. We also prep the fruit and ingredients, and provide the cups, garnishes, etc. Then, we deliver it straight to your front door, so you can enjoy your spooktacular libations.
For the interactive DIY Halloween cocktail kits, like the Smoked S’mores cocktail kit, we will provide everything you need, including the alcohol, the mixers, the simple syrups and the garnishes, so you can create your own cocktail at home (directions are included).

This cocktail combines some of the best things….bourbon and s’mores, for an adult treat that’s perfect for autumn. This cocktail kit is interactive – because an Old Fashioned needs to be enjoyed immediately after preparation AND what fun are S’mores without getting to actually roast marshmallows? We have packaged everything you need for the DIY Smoked S’mores Old Fashioned, including bourbon, bitters, a mini sterno S’mores heat can, marshmallows, garnishes and complete directions.

We combine vanilla vodka, espresso, pumpkin pie simple syrup, and a touch of cream/milk. *We can also add the milk/cream on the side, so you can add it to the martini shaker just before serving the martini).

Best served shaken and poured over ice.

This cocktail has a bit more complexity to it, but the flavors perfectly compliment one another. Full disclosure, this recipe came straight from Half Baked Harvest, one of our favorites! Here at Chesapeake Bartenders, one of our owners (can you guess who?) LOVES mezcal, so we had to try this recipe. It is delish. For those of you who enjoy tequila and mezcal, this ghostly cocktail is for you. We combine mezcal (known for its smokey aroma), fresh blackberry, lemon, orange bitters, fresh rosemary and sparkling water. We can substitute tequila for mezcal if you prefer.

And for great reason…sangria is always a crowd favorite, easy to sip on, and keeps well in the fridge. We love it for all those reasons, but also because we enjoy creating seasonal sangrias that feature the flavors of the holidays. For Halloween-inspired sangria, this version is absolutely delicious. The secret ingredient? Cinnamon whiskey. We combine white wine, sparkling apple cider, cinnamon whiskey, lemon, brown sugar, apples and cinnamon for this delicious autumn-inspired sangria.

We combine merlot, orange liquor, cranberry juice, fresh cranberries and a touch of sparkling water to make this beautiful, dark red sangria.
